The Scott County Health and Education Coalition sponsored its first 5K fun run/walk event on Saturday April 17^th. The theme, Respect 21, was chosen to promote the focus of the State Initiative grant which is the prevention of underage drinking. About 30 runners and walkers participated in the event which began at the Waldron Memorial Hall at 8:00 a.m. The overall Male Winner was Alex Spillers and the overall Female winner was Joan Howard.
